Product Development Manager required for a creative, well-established company in the luxury bespoke promotional gifting sector. On offer is the chance to join an exciting team and make your mark in a company that works directly with great factories that produce made-to-order luxury gifts. In this exciting role you will be central to the creation of innovative design-led products from notebooks, pens, bags, textiles, leather to electronics, board games and personal products.

Experience within the promotional merchandise sector or within luxury product development is required, as well as sourcing and working with factories/suppliers internationally. You will manage the full process from proposal through to delivery of the final product and serve as the project manager for new product development.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development of proposals for clients alongside product designers and sales using Microsoft, Photoshop, Illustrator and AI systems.
  • Prepare and present client-ready concepts, specifications, and presentations using Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and AI-assisted design tools.
  • Coordinate sample reviews, pre-production approvals, and quality control standards to ensure consistency and compliance with client specifications.
  • Source, evaluate and onboard new manufacturers of products internationally, ensuring compliance with quality, legal requirements, sustainability and ethical objectives.
  • Manage partner factories in the development of new products.
  • Collaborate closely to ensure the correct quality of products is delivered to budget and on time.
  • Coordinate global fulfilment in collaboration with sales, finance and shipping.
  • Work to tight deadlines in a fast-moving collaborative environment.
  • Attend global trade fairs to stay up to date on product and manufacturers.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Product Development within promotional merchandise/luxury gifting sector.
  • Experience sourcing and working with international suppliers from quotation through to product delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
