A welcoming and well-resourced primary school is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their Early Years team. The Role
- Supporting children across Nursery and/or Reception
- Delivering high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting children’s social, emotional and educational development
- Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
- Observing, assessing and contributing to learning journals
- Creating a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment
- Supporting routines, transitions and personal care where required
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years or BA in Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent)
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (essential)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Previous experience working within a school or early years setting
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
