An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Dual Registered Manager for two childrens homes based in the Camden area in London. You will join a provider with a strong reputation for delivering high:quality care and achieving positive outcomes for children and young people

This is a fantastic care provider dedicated to supporting children and young people aged 9:17 who have complex emotional and behavioural needs, providing a safe and supportive environment

As The Manager Your Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for delivering high:quality, safe and nurturing care across both childrens homes
  • Hold overall accountability for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children, overseeing day:to:day operations, leading staff practice and driving continuous improvement in line with company standards, ethos and the Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015
  • Provide strong leadership, ensuring care is child:centred and focused on achieving the best outcomes for children
  • Maintaining robust safeguarding systems, safe and effective staffing arrangements, clear risk assessments and effective multi:agency working
  • Ensure each childs individual vulnerabilities, behaviours and support needs are understood and responded to consistently
  • Supervise and mentor staff, organise work patterns and deliver care:focused training
  • Ensure care plans, safeguarding procedures and support services are implemented effectively

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role

  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding legislation, including the Children Act 1989, Care Standards Act 2000, Childrens Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
  • The ability to lead safeguarding practice, manage risk, respond effectively to incidents and ensure the homes protect and promote the welfare of children at all times
  • 2:3 years of management experience, including experience of leading and developing staff teams
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead with confidence, professionalism and resilience
  • A strong commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people

To be considered for this position you must hold a Leadership and Management qualification, or willingness to work towards one, together with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People

The successful Dual Registered Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP55,120 : GBP68,320 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week. In return or your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
