About The Role
Due to continued development across a manufacturing FMCG site, Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen an engineering team based in East Riding. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to work alongside the Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving a modern production facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing site improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
- Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements
- Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety and food safety standards
- Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability
- Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Electrical certification or relevant electrical qualifications
