Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical point of contact for the Design and Technology Faculty, reporting to the Head of Art.
- Ensure practical needs of teaching staff are met in accordance with the school’s curriculum.
- Maintain, repair and organise all art equipment, apparatus and materials.
- Perform regular stock‑taking, record keeping and ordering to keep supply levels within budget.
- Assist with the preparation and layout of practical classes.
- Support wider school activities such as open days and other events.
- Attend faculty meetings to brief staff on new equipment or practical ideas.
- Coordinate the disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in compliance with health‑and‑safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with Borough regulations and liaise with premises staff for maintenance.
- Participate in the development of practical and technical facilities for the Art Faculty.
