An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Diss, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. This special care home provides care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals.
To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
- Acting as the home’s nurse expert with a combination of nursing skills and managerial and leadership skills.
- Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, making far-reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
- Care plan development and assessments.
- Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care.
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
- Good clinical skills.
- Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.
The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP 50,000 per annum. This permanent full-time role is 40 hours a week, working through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive generous benefits:
