Overview

My client is looking for a passionate Designate General Manager to lead, inspire and motivate the team to achieve excellence in all areas. This exciting opportunity is designed for an experienced manager to work across multiple sites. You will need to be flexible, willing to travel, and have the drive and determination to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Providing vision to the team, gaining buy-in and commitment to continually improve and challenge performance.
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of operational excellence across the entire site.
  • Developing your team through support and coaching, building a culture that is truly passionate about the needs of our customers.
  • Monitoring day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles.
  • Accountability for the performance of the sites both operationally and commercially.
  • Monitoring the revenue and participant numbers for the site, looking to undertake corrective action as needed.
  • Constantly looking to find opportunities to grow the site's sales, working collaboratively with the marketing teams to identify and execute local sales initiatives.
  • Meticulous focus on safety and compliance, driven through accountability.
  • Taking on accountability for site safety in conjunction with the Health, Safety and Risk Manager, ensuring that all accidents and reports are in line with company policy.
  • Control all aspects of the site P and L, monitoring and reviewing control of the use of resources to ensure expenditure is controlled within budget throughout the year.

Qualifications and What they Want

  • Razor-sharp focus on the customer experience and delivers this consistently through operational excellence while getting into the detail on what makes a customer visit extraordinary.
  • Ability to build great relationships internally at all levels as well as 3rd party on-site partnerships.
  • Commercially minded with a record of accomplishment of growing sales and profit year on year.
  • 2 years experience as a General Manager with full sales and profit responsibility across a multi-channel leisure and hospitality business.
  • A great communicator who can be themselves, have fun, dream big and be part of the future growth.
