The Role
A highly motivated and enthusiastic Design and Technology Teacher is required for a full: time, permanent position starting in September.
This third: person role involves delivering high: quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful educator will be responsible for inspiring pupils across multiple disciplines, specifically focusing on Product Design (PD), Resistant Materials (RM), and Textiles.

- Plan, prepare, and deliver high: quality, differentiated DT lessons encompassing Product Design, Resistant Materials, and Textiles.
- Maintain a safe, productive, and highly organised workshop environment in strict accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students to maximise academic outcomes.
- Implement the academys structured behaviour policies consistently to maintain a positive and focused climate for learning.
- Foster a culture of mutual respect, kindness, and high expectations among all students in the classroom.
- Support the schools extensive enrichment programme by leading or assisting with practical, skills: based extracurricular activities.
- Actively participate in the schools daily morning Personal Development and Growth sessions.
- Collaborate with the department and the wider trust to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching strategies.
- Engage regularly with parents, carers, and external stakeholders regarding student progress and well: being.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of an inclusive curriculum that encourages all pupils, regardless of starting point, to aim high.
