Responsibilities
- Install and modify structured data cabling systems using detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
- Install cable containment systems, route and terminate data and power cables, ensuring compliance with recognised automotive and passive network standards.
- Test installations with FLUKE DSX:5000 equipment.
- Diagnose faults using root cause analysis and support wider site-based data projects.
Qualifications
- Relevant electrical regulations certification and site safety cards.
- MEWP licence.
- Own comprehensive tool kit.
- Previous experience in industrial or automotive environments and CCTV installations connected to corporate networks.
- Exposure to fibre termination, splicing, or testing considered a strong advantage.
