Join Our Team as Cover Supervisor. Do you have the confidence to lead a classroom and a genuine passion for working with young people? Whether you are exploring a future in teaching or seeking a fulfilling role in education, becoming a Cover Supervisor is a fantastic way to make a real impact. In this role, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the teacher, manage classroom behaviour, and help maintain a positive and focused learning environment. You will support students in staying engaged and on task, working across various subjects and year groups, making each day different, dynamic, and rewarding.
Who We Are Looking For
- Confident, calm, and approachable individuals
- Ability to manage groups of students effectively
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a school or working with young people is a plus but not essential

Essential Requirements
- 5 GCSEs (A:C) or equivalent including English and Maths
- Proactive and confident
- Experience of working in an educational setting
- Previous experience of working with children and young people
- Good communication skills
- Ability to supervise and manage groups of children with confidence
- A positive attitude towards children, including the ability to demonstrate and promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation
- Administrative, organisational and ICT skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise work in a busy school environment or when unexpected circumstances arise
