You will be responsible for the output of high-quality value-add packaging, namely focusing on complex die-cutting processes including decorative finishing (embossing) and some cross-functionality onto gluing machinery alongside No1 glue operatives (training can be provided).
Requiring a level of autonomy, high operational proficiency, thorough quality inspection, and detailed ongoing machine maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cut, crease & emboss on BOBST SP 102-S
- Gluing on BOBST Media 100 (training can be provided)
- Quality management & quality inspection
- Achieving target speeds to maintain departmental performance
- Maintenance
- Control of departmental documentation, parts & consumables
- Adopting FACER's production IT systems
- Shared responsibility for the cut & crease & gluing department, reporting to the Production Manager
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience running BOBST or similar cut & crease machines essential
- Experience in folding carton production or similar essential
- Experience with decorative embossing, single-level, multi-level, sculpted essential
- Experience running BOBST or similar gluing machines desirable
- Experience with straight-line, crash-lock, complex gluing desirable
- Experience on other finishing machinery such as guillotine / other desirable
- High levels of energy to keep pace with ongoing production demand
- Mechanical aptitude to maintain machines & diagnose breakdowns
- Genuine "do whatever it takes to deliver" attitude with willingness to assist in all areas
- Good IT, written & verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude toward overcoming challenges
- Sound judgment and decision-making ability
