An opportunity has arisen for a CRO/Head of Risk & Compliance to join a reputable leader in its market!

We\’re not here to bore you with corporate jargon or list every responsibility. You\’re a seasoned professional in risk and compliance; you know the drill.

This is a hybrid role, working 2/3 times per month in the office.

Responsibilities:

1. Leadership: Steering the Risk & Compliance functions, ensuring smooth operation.
2. Regulatory Navigation: Liaising with FCA, PRA, and the Central Bank of Ireland to ensure regulatory compliance.
3. Framework Development: Building and refining risk and compliance frameworks.
4. Cultural Influence: Embedding a compliance culture that is embraced across the organization.
5. Strategic Input: Providing insights to influence business decisions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in senior risk and compliance roles within financial services or insurance sectors.
• Familiarity with SMF4, SMF16 responsibilities, and possibly PCF12 and PCF14 roles.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies.
• Ability to enforce policies and enable business growth.
• Influence across all levels, from the boardroom to operational teams.
