Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established independent planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team based in the Gatwick / Crawley area. With multiple offices across London, the South East and the Thames Valley, the business continues to expand, creating an excellent opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to join a stable and respected consultancy.
This Senior Town Planner will work across a varied and engaging project portfolio, supporting homeowners, SMEs, charities, public sector organisations, developers and landowners. As a Senior Town Planner, you will manage your own caseload while working closely with colleagues across the wider business in a collaborative consultancy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Managing planning applications and appeals
- Providing planning advice to a diverse client base
- Liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders
- Supporting junior planners where appropriate
Qualifications:
The ideal Senior Town Planner will have experience within consultancy or local authority planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage projects with minimal supervision. MRTPI or working towards chartership is preferred.
