Responsibilities
- Advise and represent clients across a broad spectrum of criminal matters.
- Attend police stations, appear before the Magistrates Court and manage caseloads from instruction to conclusion.
- Prepare and submit bail applications, conduct case‑management hearings, participate in trials, and contribute to the Duty Solicitor rota.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor or approaching qualification with experience in criminal defence.
- Existing Duty Solicitor accreditation is advantageous but not essential; the firm supports accreditation development.
