37.75 Hours per Week: Monday to Friday 8:15am to 5pm, Friday 8:15am to 1pm
This company is an industry leading manufacturer with a 65 year history who are currently experiencing significant year on year sales growth. This is a great opportunity to play an integral role within a business who is witnessing over 20% growth each year and has ambitious development and investment plans.
The successful candidate will need experience in a similar role and can come from any manufacturing or engineering background. You will need a NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma (or equivalent) with relevant Health and Safety experience along with knowledge of UK HSE legislation.
You will be responsible for Health, Safety and Environmental for the company. You’ll develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with UK legislation. You will carry out risk assessments and audits and conduct investigations if there are any incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. You’ll deliver training when required and monitor compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
