The Role
Reporting ultimately to the People Manager, the overall purpose of the role is to assist in the provision of an effective and efficient People service.
To Be Considered For This Role You Must:
- Champion Wellbeing, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Value, Community, and engagement agendas
- Support managers with the use of the Oracle and Kronos systems
- Communicate effectively daily with internal and external customers
- Build and maintain relationships with colleagues from other departments
- Maintain department reports
- Support the hiring managers with onboarding for their teams and the induction process
- Support the management team with Investigation, Disciplinary and Absence Management cases
- Contribute towards the improvement of processes/methods of operating practices within the department
- Undertake such duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the People function
- Maintain the highest level of data integrity by handling all colleague and company information with sensitivity and absolute confidentiality and ensure the adherence of GDPR regulations
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have some previous knowledge or transferable skills.
- Must have a flexible and adaptable approach to demands and changes in work activity
- Must be confident, self-motivated, organised, and able to work on your own initiative and under pressure
- Will have a willingness to learn and take ownership for personal development
- Will have a great attention to detail and can accurately input and interpret data
- Must be an effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
- Must be an effective time planner with the ability to balance workloads and work to deadlines
- Be PC literate: this is essential
