A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced EHS Health and Safety Specialist to join a leading manufacturing site based in Corby, Northamptonshire and play a key role in driving Health, Safety and Environmental standards. This is a hands-on position where you will influence culture, support managers, and ensure the site remains fully compliant with legislation and corporate requirements.
What Youll Be Doing
- Ensuring the site complies with all current Health and Safety legislation and maintaining an up-to-date legal register.
- Collecting, analysing and reporting KPI data within agreed deadlines.
- Implementing and communicating corporate H and S policies and initiatives across the workforce.
- Supporting departmental managers with all aspects of EHS management, including risk assessments, training, and auditing.
- Driving compliance with the internal H and S auditing programme.
- Maintaining the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and supporting continuous improvement of environmental performance.
- Working collaboratively with all departments to ensure company rules and procedures are consistently followed.
What Youll Look For
- NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of EHS regulations and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in an EHS role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
- Proactive, organised, and passionate about driving a positive safety culture.
