Corby is a town with a strong sense of community and a shared pride in its environment. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of that. As our new Community Ranger, you will be a friendly, visible presence across the town, supporting residents, keeping an eye on the public realm, and helping ensure Corby remains clean, safe and welcoming.

The role requires enjoying being out and about, talking to people, solving problems, and taking ownership of the places that matter to local communities. You will work closely with partners across North Northamptonshire, support our allotment tenants, and play an active part in community events and activities throughout the year. No two days will look the same. One morning you might be checking in with allotment holders or spotting issues around the town; that afternoon you could be supporting a community group, helping prepare for an event, or working with partners to report environmental concerns such as fly tipping or graffiti.

What stays constant is the impact you make: people notice this role, and they value it. We are a small, committed team with a practical, community‑focused approach. If you are observant, enjoy working outdoors and with the public, and want a job where you can see the difference you make, we would love to hear from you.
