Cook/ Chef : The Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook/Chef to join our school team. The role involves planning and preparing nutritious, balanced meals that meet the dietary needs of all students and staff, including those with special requirements. Cook/Chef Responsibilities include monitoring stock through proper date rotation, portion control, and quality checks while working within set budgets. The successful Cook/Chef will be responsible for setting up and cleaning down the kitchen each day, preparing for both daily and weekly meal service, and ensuring minimal food waste. Daily checks of mealtime requirements for staff, students, and visitors are essential, as is strict adherence to Health and Safety and food hygiene regulations. Cook/Chef experience in a similar setting and a good understanding of dietary needs and food safety practices are highly desirable.
Cook/ Chef : The School
School is a brand:new independent specialist school for autistic children between five and eleven years of age. Providing effective, specialist education and support to autistic children and their families, which will allow pupils to achieve their full potential in education and life. Located in the town centre of Guildford, the school provides primary education and offers a unique mix of education and support to pupils within a wide spectrum of needs and abilities. Personalised teaching and learning in an autism specific environment allow pupils individual needs to be addressed completely and their capabilities fully realised.
