Key Attributes:

• Degree/HND/HNC/NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
• 2+ years of industry experience in a similar Electrical Controls role (strong graduates may also be considered)
• Confident programming of control systems from scratch (Siemens, Rockwell, Beckhoff)
• Experience configuring Variable Speed Drives (ABB, Nidec, etc.)
• Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
• Full Driving Licence

Responsibilities:

• Program PLCs from scratch
• Develop HMI and SCADA applications
• Work closely with Electrical Design Engineers
• Take solutions from concept right through to commissioning
• Deliver projects on time and within budget
• Configure Variable Speed Drives
• Ensure company standards are always adhered to
• Travel to customer sites for commissioning activities
• Provide remote support for systems
• Create required documentation
