We are recruiting for an experienced Contract Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of a busy grounds maintenance contract in Nottingham. You will manage operational teams, organise workloads and resources, maintain quality and safety standards, and support the Contract Manager with the successful delivery of the contract.
What you will be doing:
- Supervising and organising grounds maintenance teams
- Planning daily workloads, staffing and resources
- Monitoring quality, productivity and contract performance
- Managing vehicles, machinery and equipment requirements
- Liaising with clients and resolving operational issues
- Completing safety inspections, toolbox talks and incident reporting
- Supporting recruitment, training and employee management
- Deputising for the Contract Manager when required
What we are looking for:
- Previous supervisory/team management experience
- Experience within grounds maintenance, landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture or a similar environment
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
- Good understanding of health and safety
- Confident using IT systems and completing reports
- Full UK driving licence: essential
- Relevant industry qualification desirable but not essential
What's on offer:
£30,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience, plus health cash plan, employee discounts, company sick pay, training and career progression.
