An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to work in a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton On Sea, Essex area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. This mental health hospital provides an acute inpatient service for men and women aged 18+ specialising in the assessment and treatment of individuals in crisis or suffering from a significant mental health illness.

To be considered for this position you must have an MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that people admitted are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
  • Medication management
  • Quality assurance, complaints and co-production
  • Delivery of NICE guidance
  • Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards
Skills and experience
  • Be innovative and imaginative with the ability to initiate corporate decisions
  • Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry and other aspects of mental health
  • Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, contemporary issues in mental health, knowledge of and experience in purchaser/provider contractual issues
  • Previous Consultant experience
