This leading regional law firm is looking for a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to play an active role in the development of the commercial litigation department. This is an opportunity where your input dictates your success. The firm is increasingly busy and is looking to hire a junior but highly skilled Commercial Litigator into their team.
The caseload will comprise all aspects of commercial litigation including:
- Shareholder disputes
- Contentious probate
- Building disputes
- Professional negligence disputes
- Partnership disputes
Working directly alongside the partner, this is a good role for someone ambitious and driven and keen to progress their career. The successful Commercial Litigation Solicitor will ideally have a genuine passion for Commercial Litigation and have some working knowledge of all aspects of commercial litigation.
You will have ideally experience within either a leading national or regional law firm and will be looking for a change in direction to join a firm that is committed to the development of your career. You will have handled a mixed caseload of commercial litigation matters and will have a strong network of contacts within the regional market who will instruct you on future matters. You will be keen to business develop and market in the local area.
The Solicitor should be able to demonstrate proven experience in the full litigation process and ideally will have had experience advising UK and international corporations, governments, and high net worth individuals. The Solicitor will work on all parts of the litigation process including:
- Disclosure
- Case management
- Drafting witness statements
- Attending trial
In addition, the Solicitor will partake in settlement, including informal settlements meetings, arbitration, and mediation.
