The Opportunity
We are seeking a high-calibre Commercial Manager to join a leading global infrastructure and facilities management organization. This role is based within our Building Services division, where we are dedicated to maintaining safe, healthy, and efficient learning environments across a regional portfolio of schools, colleges, and universities.
As a Commercial Manager, you will be the guardian of financial governance for your portfolio. You will work at the intersection of finance and operations, ensuring that our multi-service delivery, including M and E, cleaning, catering, and grounds maintenance, is commercially robust, risk-aware, and aligned with our long-term social value goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Governance and Reporting: Drive the financial lifecycle of the portfolio by producing accurate month-end Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and detailed financial forecasts.
- Cost Management: Take ownership of cost recovery, commercial entitlements, and budget management to ensure the contract remains profitable and compliant with internal guidance.
- Risk and Opportunity: Proactively identify, quantify, and manage commercial risks while mapping out opportunities for revenue growth and process efficiency.
- Strategic Advisory: Act as a key business partner to the operational teams and Senior Commercial Manager, providing robust advice on contractual obligations and commercial matters.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve commercial workflows to ensure we meet and exceed all contractual deliverables and performance targets.
- Supply Chain Integrity: Manage the commercial relationship with our supply chain, ensuring strict adherence to prompt.
