We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator to join our client's growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of CNC milling machines, ensuring the production of high‑quality components that meet strict industry specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
  • Produce complex components from a range of materials, adhering to quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers and other manufacturing personnel to achieve efficient and accurate machining operations
  • Attend SQDCP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and People) meetings to contribute to process improvements
  • Ensure production meets planned set and run times and quality requirements
  • Communicate any issues or deviations from the planned process
  • Assist in maintaining a well‑organised and efficient work environment

Required Skills And Experience

  • Demonstrated experience setting up and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
  • Proficiency in producing high‑complexity components from a variety of materials
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, and use various inspection equipment (e.g. micrometers, verniers, plug gauges)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively
  • Previous experience in the aerospace industry is desirable, but not essential
