An excellent ongoing locum opportunity to support a well-established firm while covering maternity leave. Hybrid working, minimum of 3 days per week office-based, to support supervision of junior team members. Productive working environment, inspiring peer group and a caring culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Civil Litigation Locum Solicitor required on a maternity cover basis, with a start date in February, on a full-time basis within an established team.
  • Candidates should have 3+ years' PQE in civil litigation and experience advising and representing clients across a broad spectrum of matters.
  • Caseload will include consumer disputes, landlord and tenant issues, possession proceedings, debt recovery, partnership and contractual disputes, intellectual property matters, building and construction disputes, as well as wider commercial and general civil litigation.
  • Hybrid working is offered, with a requirement to attend the office at least three days per week to support collaboration and supervision.
  • The role involves line management and day-to-day supervision of two team members: a trainee solicitor and a legal assistant.
  • You will receive support with caseload management to ensure a smooth handover and the continued delivery of high-quality client service.
  • Opportunity to work within a well-established, collaborative team providing exposure to a wide variety of civil litigation matters.
