We are looking for a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie with the right attitude and approach. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef looking to grow in a supportive environment.
The Restaurant
- Cuisine: Classic French foundations with a modern, creative approach and Mediterranean influences
- Recognition: Michelin Guide-listed
- Covers: Approximately 50 covers
- Team size: Small brigade of around 5 chefs, ambitious team culture
- Kitchen: Small, hands-on environment: chefs expected to run a section
The Role
- Chef de Partie or Demi CDP (dependent on experience and attitude)
- Run a section with confidence
- Contribute ideas and be creative: not just follow recipes
- Work within a small, tight-knit brigade
Hours and Work-Life Balance
- 4.5-day working week: approximately 8 shifts, 45-48 hours total
- Closed Sunday and Monday
- Closed Saturday lunch
- Every other weekend off (Saturday, Sunday, Monday: three days)
- Annual closures:
- Christmas: approximately 21st December - 7th January
- Easter: approximately 1 week
- Mid-August: approximately 2 weeks
- Additional full week off in May
