We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a busy team in Chipping Norton. This is a full:time role offering GBP14.59 per hour with an immediate start available.

The Role
Duties
- Grass cutting and strimming
- Hedge and shrub maintenance
- General horticultural and grounds maintenance work
- Litter picking and cleaning public areas
- Maintaining parks, open spaces, and cemeteries
- General grounds upkeep and seasonal maintenance tasks
- Safe operation of chainsaws and other grounds maintenance equipment
- Operating ride:on mowers, stand:on mowers, brush cutters, hedge cutters (preferably electric), and pedestrian/push mowers
- Driving a flatbed truck and an electric Ford Transit van as required
Requirements
- Physically fit and reliable
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- IT literate
- Previous grounds maintenance or horticulture experience
- A valid Wood Chipper licence
- Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
- Experience operating ride:on mowers, stand:on mowers, brush cutters, hedge cutters (preferably electric), and pedestrian/push mowers
- Ability to drive a flatbed truck and an electric Ford Transit van
- A valid Enhanced DBS certificate : Essential
- Full UK driving licence : Essential
