An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious five: star luxury country house hotel in Wiltshire, set within 500 acres of beautiful countryside.
Reporting to the Executive Head Housekeeper, you will help lead the daily housekeeping operation, supervising around 10 to 15 colleagues within a wider team of 25 to 30.

The Role
You will support the Executive Head Housekeeper with the daily operation of the housekeeping department.
- Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Supervising approximately 10 to 15 housekeeping colleagues each day.
- Allocating daily duties and managing workflow.
- Checking bedrooms, cottages and public areas to five: star standards.
- Ensuring housekeeping procedures and standards are followed.
- Supporting training, development and motivation within the team.
- Leading by example and remaining hands: on when required.
- Identifying and resolving quality issues before rooms are released.
- Ensuring guest requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Supporting the team during busy periods and staffing shortages.
- Working closely with the Executive Head Housekeeper and wider hotel team.
- Attending meetings and training sessions as required.
About You
You are an experienced housekeeping professional with a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.
You will have a strong eye for detail, high personal standards and confidence leading a team within a busy hotel.
- You Will Bring
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Senior Housekeeper, Housekeeping Team Leader or similar.
- Experience within a four or five: star hotel, luxury hotel or country house hotel.
- Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and room presentation.
- Experience checking bedrooms and public areas.
- Ability to lead, motivate, train and support a housekeeping team.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in presentation.
- Calm, positive and professional approach under pressure.
- Genuine commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Hands: on approach to housekeeping operations.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
Desirable Experience
- Five: star or luxury country house hotel experience.
- Opera or another hotel housekeeping system.
- Supervising 10 or more housekeeping colleagues.
- AA or similar luxury hotel standards.
- Luxury bedrooms, suites, cottages or public areas.
Package
- Salary circa GBP 31,000 per annum.
- Performance bonus scheme.
- Service charge, typically GBP 200 to GBP 300 per month.
