We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist educational setting in Chichester, supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Support pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and social development
- Help create a safe, calm, and nurturing learning environment
- Implement behaviour and support plans consistently
- Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals

- Have experience working with children or young people with SEMH or additional needs (desirable)
