Overview
Mobile Vehicle Technician (Field Service Engineer/Mechanic/Forklifts) – Chesterfield. Up to £36,000 for Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; or Up to £41,000 for Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis
- Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area
- Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment
- Spares placed in van overnight
Requirements
- Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable
- Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills
- Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
