We are working with an established and innovative hospitality brand that is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join their Head Office team in Cheltenham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys improving processes, strengthening controls and partnering with the wider business to support continued growth.
Responsibilities
- Leading the production of accurate monthly management accounts and statutory reporting
- Managing the annual audit process and acting as the key point of contact for auditors
- Overseeing VAT compliance and financial controls
- Developing and embedding robust accounting processes and governance frameworks
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning activities
- Driving improvements across finance operations and reporting
Candidate Profile
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, tax and compliance
- Experience working with accounting systems (NetSuite desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
- A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- Hospitality, retail or multi-site experience would be highly advantageous
