An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager: CAMHS to work in an exceptional mental health hospital based in the Springfield, Essex area. You will be working with one of the UK's leading health care providers. This is an independent hospital that specialises in the treatment and management of adults and adolescents with acute mental health problems, for people suffering from mild to moderate mental health issues, such as stress and anxiety.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Responsibilities- You will play a key part in the recovery of the patients.
- Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Manages the ward and resources effectively, taking steps to ensure that appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensures that all members of the nursing team receive clinical supervision, appraisal, CPD requirements and complete mandatory training.
- Addresses shortfalls in development and ensures that training and performance issues are addressed.
- Mix of nursing experience and skills including effective rota management, annual leave and training arrangements.
- At least two years supervisory experience in a relevant care setting.
- Computer literate.
- Committed to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in clinical audit, service improvement, and managing multiple priorities is essential.
- Previous experience supervising nursing or care staff.
The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP47,300 - GBP53,700 per annum. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
