A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Charity Solicitor to join their reputable private client team and handle interesting work on behalf of a wide ranging client base across the third sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up, administer, and close charities.
  • Act for a broad range of charity clients and advise on legal and regulatory matters including trustee duties, mergers, transfer of assets, and liaising with the Charity Commission.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years PQE specialising in creating and registering charitable entities.
  • Experience advising trustees on duties, powers and governance.
  • Handling charity mergers and closures, including de-registrations.
  • Drafting policies.
  • Build and nurture client relationships and engage in business development and networking activities.
