A CGI Lead Artist thrives on crafting extraordinary visuals that captivate our customers. They inspire and guide a talented team of artists, fostering collaboration and creativity to bring imaginative concepts to life. With a focus on innovation and efficient workflows, they ensure projects are delivered beautifully, on schedule, and with excellence.
Skills Required:- Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation image creation
- Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation animation
- Strong experience in automotive CGI/Visualisation realtime
- Expert knowledge of Design processes in a Design studio environment and where Visualisation fits into this
- Strong level of experience in the creation of Visual Stimulus (e.g. Computer Generated stills/animation, VR, real-time)
- Strong level of experience using relevant Design software (Autodesk Maya, VRED, Vray, Unreal, Adobe creation suite)
- Understanding of CG Render pipelines
- Strong understanding of Digital Material Creation and Translation processes
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong IT / Microsoft Office skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Working knowledge in game engine driven pipelines
- C++
- Previous hands-on pipeline creation experience
- Experience with Django/HTML/Java/CSS
- SQL DB experience
- Knowledge of our client's product portfolio
- Demonstrated will and ability to improve and optimize production workflows
- Relevant animation/rigging experience
- Colour theory concept understanding
- Expert in digital material creation using Substance Suite
This role is on a contract basis and in Inside IR35. Portfolio required as part of the application process. Strong, focused communicator with proven track record of applying logic and analytical thinking. Able to deliver consistent quality in a highly demanding environment.
