We have an exceptional opportunity for a talented Solicitor to join one of the UK’s leading catastrophic injury teams, handling high‑value defendant personal injury claims for a prestigious insurer client base.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join a nationally recognised catastrophic injury team undertaking complex defendant personal injury litigation. Working alongside experienced specialists, you will manage your own caseload of multi‑track claims while assisting on high‑value catastrophic injury matters involving employers liability, public liability and road traffic accident claims, with values ranging from £1,000 to over £20 million. You will advise insurer and corporate clients on liability, quantum and litigation strategy, prepare cases for trial, draft pleadings and witness statements, instruct experts and counsel, negotiate settlements and gain exposure to some of the most complex personal injury litigation in the market.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors through to 3 years PQE with experience in defendant personal injury litigation. Candidates with experience in employers liability, public liability or motor claims will be particularly attractive. Exceptional newly qualified solicitors with relevant training seat experience will be considered, as will candidates currently acting for claimants who are looking to develop their career within defendant catastrophic injury work. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical ability, strong communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for high‑value personal injury litigation.
