Care Assistant

A fantastic job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Weymouth, Dorset area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care provider.

This is a nursing and residential care home that’s perfectly positioned in one of the most beautiful seaside towns on England’s south coast, and is set to open soon.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well‑being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well‑being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP12.60 per hour and the annual salary is GBP23,587.20 per annum. This exciting position is permanent full time role for 36 hours a week on days.
