Description

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of mechanical plant and production equipment, including pumps, pipework, gearboxes, compressors and rotating machinery.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults to maximise reliability, performance and uptime.
• Support electrical and controls:related maintenance activities where required.
• Work closely with production and engineering teams during maintenance, shutdown and improvement activities.
• Assist with fault investigations and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and site standards.

Experience

• Time:served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Maintenance experience within an industrial, manufacturing or process environment.
• Strong mechanical skills with some exposure to electrical systems.
• Experience working within safety:critical or highly regulated environments.
• Good fault:finding, problem:solving and risk awareness skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
