Following a recent investment, the company is looking for an Electrical Inspector to join and lead its well‑established maintenance team. Role And Responsibilities:
- Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
- Detect deviations in the performance of the plant's asset function in a timely manner.
- Ensure the safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work on a daily basis, through detailed job preparation with the engineer of the area.
- Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardisation.
- Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours to detect anomalies.
- Provide support to maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
- Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting the equipment at the supplier or upon arrival at the warehouse.
- Coordinate contractor scheduled jobs and monitor the quality of tasks being carried out.
- Use predictive maintenance techniques, when appropriate, for the management of equipment and components.
- Review and analyse plant information (SAP + shift reports + alarm systems).
- Provide detailed work orders that ensure the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work.
- Keep asset documents and drawings updated and in order, in the locations where they are required.
- Also update and keep organized information that is online.
- Provide support to engineering and production teams with the preparation of the work plans to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
- Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or a HNC in Mechanical Engineering is desired.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting.
- In‑depth knowledge and experience in current plant equipment.
- Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and find solutions in a short period of time.
