Following a recent investment, the company is looking for an Electrical Inspector to join and lead its well‑established maintenance team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers brilliant stability as well as excellent progressive routes. Role And Responsibilities:

  • Foresee that all the activities needed to maintain equipment are being executed with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Detect deviations in the performance of the plant's asset function in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the safe, efficient and quality execution of routine maintenance work on a daily basis, through detailed job preparation with the engineer of the area.
  • Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardisation.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled daily tours to detect anomalies.
  • Provide support to maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
  • Guarantee the quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting the equipment at the supplier or upon arrival at the warehouse.
  • Coordinate contractor scheduled jobs and monitor the quality of tasks being carried out.
  • Use predictive maintenance techniques, when appropriate, for the management of equipment and components.
  • Review and analyse plant information (SAP + shift reports + alarm systems).
  • Provide detailed work orders that ensure the safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work.
  • Keep asset documents and drawings updated and in order, in the locations where they are required.
  • Also update and keep organized information that is online.
  • Provide support to engineering and production teams with the preparation of the work plans to achieve the highest efficiency and quality of the maintenance groups.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or a HNC in Mechanical Engineering is desired.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and tools associated with troubleshooting.
  • In‑depth knowledge and experience in current plant equipment.
  • Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and find solutions in a short period of time.
