As a Quality Engineer You Will:
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to ensure product and process quality.
- Solve complex problems using techniques such as 8D, 5Y, and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Support New Product Introduction processes, including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, and PSW documentation.
- Prioritise inspection tasks to align with production requirements and deadlines.
- Perform internal and external audits on processes and products to maintain quality standards.
- Assist the Quality Manager in upholding IATF16949 and ISO9001 standards across all production areas.
The Quality Engineer Will Have:
- A solid technical education complemented by practical engineering skills.
- Experience in injection moulding and assembly processes within automotive manufacturing would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with IATF16949 and VDA requirements.
- A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Proven experience in internal and external auditing within high-volume production environments.
