We are partnering with a massive global leader in building materials and manufacturing to find reliable FLT Operatives to join their close-knit yard team in Cannock. Salary: GBP12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

What You’ll Be Doing

  • FLT Operation: Safely operating forklift trucks to move, stock, and load heavy items.
  • Site Maintenance: Carrying out basic equipment maintenance, housekeeping duties, and daily/monthly safety recording and inspections.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Working collaboratively to meet targets, minimising waste, and interacting professionally with customers when required.

What We Are Looking For

  • A valid Forklift Counterbalance licence is required (though further training will be provided).
  • Experience with MEWPs or Telehandlers is a great bonus.
  • Prior experience handling heavy loads and working in a quarry, manufacturing, or similar heavy-industrial environment is highly preferable.
  • A flexible approach to work, strong independence, and a commitment to strict health and safety procedures (Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work).
  • Punctual, able to learn new tasks quickly, with a solid grasp of basic maths and English.
