The Financial Controller works under the supervision of the Registered Manager and reports to the Directors of the Company. The role involves ensuring that all invoices are issued correctly, processed according to company procedures and policies, and paid appropriately. It also includes ensuring that all staff are paid to the standards required by regulators and Directors, and that all regulatory and Director requirements are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the invoice processes.
- Oversee the staff wages payment processes.
- Ensure correct processing or internal direction of incoming mail.
- Administer postal franking and distribution of mail from the Company.
- Administer petty cash.
- Maintain the accountancy systems up to date.
Qualifications:
- Diploma Level 3 in Finance or equivalent.
- Demonstrated familiarity with wages and invoicing systems.
- Preferably familiarity with Cornwall Council finance systems.
Location: Camelford, Cornwall. The position is full time (40 hours per week) and office based.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary: GBP 34,000 per annum (DOE). Salary reviewed based on experience, qualification and performance after a three‑month probationary period.
