School Administrators Needed Across Cambridgeshire

Do you want a job role in a dynamic working environment? Are you a people person with a passion for providing a warm and professional welcome? We are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated and proactive School Administrators to provide essential support to our client schools throughout Cambridgeshire.

Schedule: 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, full‑time. Position starts as soon as possible.

This role is the first point of contact for the school, requiring a warm and professional demeanor to welcome visitors and handle all phone and face‑to‑face inquiries.

Key Duties:

  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
  • Ensuring school security by controlling access and issuing ID badges
  • Handling confidential information and data in line with school policy
  • Organising induction for new families, including school tours
  • Updating and distributing school communications across various platforms like the website, social media, and newsletters
  • Maintaining school diaries, calendars, and club paperwork
  • Assisting with stock control, ordering supplies, and general office maintenance
  • Producing reports and updating SIMS and other management systems
  • Collecting and processing money for school meals and trips

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a school office
  • Specific knowledge of school management information systems (MIS), such as SIMS
  • A clear understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to work
  • Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS clearance
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
