Role Overview
NEW CONCEPT, FRESH FOOD, TABLE SERVICE
Weekly sales are going to be about GBP 30,000: GBP 55,000 with a large garden, seasonal business, peak of summer 50k plus.
My client is a leading operator across the UK serving quality fresh British food.
The menu changes with the season and this is a brand‑new concept.
This is an exciting opportunity to be the General Manager for the first site, to then grow with the brand.
The site will open from breakfast, lunch and dinner, and late into the evenings.
They are looking for an experienced and talented General Manager who has worked in quality pubs, with a good mix of wet and dry sales.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of seasons, menu writing, stock control, recruitment, training, team development, marketing, building business and profit and loss accountability, and a keen desire to make the business a success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and write the seasonal menu.
- Control stock and manage inventory.
- Recruit, train and develop staff.
- Create marketing initiatives to grow the business.
- Manage the profit and loss for the site.
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations from breakfast to late evening service.
Qualifications
- Experience as a General Manager in quality pubs.
- Good mix of wet and dry sales experience.
- Knowledge of seasonal menu planning.
