Buyer required for a reputable manufacturing company located in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly company of approximately 100 members, who are part of a wider international group, offering long term job security.
This role would suit candidates with experience in a buyer / procurement focused role, including experience with SAP. Candidates from any industry are encouraged .
Working within a team of five, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with existing suppliers and sourcing and reviewing new suppliers.
The Buyer Role
- A Sending purchase orders
- A Adding order information to the companys MRP system
- A Updating sales team on deliveries and supply information
- A Raise requestion orders
- A Negotiating terms with suppliers
- A Updating schedules for parts to be delivered
The Buyer Candidate
- A Experience in a procurement / buyer role
