We are looking for a data driven, commercially focussed Pricing Manager, Business Analyst or Product Manager to play a key role in collaborating with our sales, purchasing, operations and customer departments.

JOB DESCRIPTION: As our Pricing Manager or Business Analyst your focus will be on data, but also on how we use that data and turn it into revenue. This is not solely an analyst position; we want someone who is comfortable in the detail but also presenting what they have found to stakeholders across the business.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, this is a commercial role where you will help shape our pricing and use data to support our margin improvement.
Your Key Tasks Will Be To:
- Own the Data relating pricing modules and frameworks across all customer groups
- Use that data to drive sales and uncover new opportunities for the business, be it in new markets, customer groups, channels or products
- Analysing the processes, pricing structures, contracts, fees and systems to uncover any opportunities for cost reduction or rationalisation / efficiency to drive increased margin and profitability
- Develop an expert understanding of our competition and our target audience, both existing and prospective.
- Support our other departments; Sales with product knowledge, Purchasing on Supplier Negotiations, Operations on Planning and all staff on product changes, pricing updates and models.
You Will Also Be:
- A systems expert: you must be comfortable with multiple systems including Excel and be happy dealing with multiple data sets across multiple departments as well as the associated reporting.
- An expert in communication: you will be central to creating links between various departments and understanding how to communicate with people from all levels of business will be vital to your success.
- A self-starter: we need proactive people who thrive on having an active role in the business.
- Hard-working: you are an individual who is excited by innovation and creativity as well as having a commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Someone who ideally has experience of working with ERP / MRP / Finance and Reporting systems such as SAP / Sage / Dynamics and Power BI or similar.
- Any exposure or experience in the aftermarket parts, heavy duty, rail or bus sectors will be a distinct advantage. Along with this, if you have exposure to pricing for complex tenders, fleets or framework agreements we would welcome a conversation.
