Job Type: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Manchester

Salary: GBP 30,000 - GBP 40,000 (Depending on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery and site equipment
  • Respond to breakdowns and carry out fault diagnosis and repair (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Support senior engineers with installations, upgrades, and project work (junior level)
  • Work independently on maintenance tasks (experienced level)
  • Reduce downtime by ensuring efficient and effective repairs
  • Follow health and safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records

About You:

  • Experience in maintenance engineering OR a strong interest/qualification in engineering
  • Mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled background preferred
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop hands-on skills
  • Good problem-solving and practical mindset
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Engineering qualification (NVQ, City and Guilds, HNC or equivalent)
