Mediplacements are looking for a skilled and experienced band 6 Histology Biomedical Scientist to fill an ongoing locum role in our clients laboratory based in Manchester. This position is due to start as soon as possible with a pay rate of up to GBP24 per hour.
HCPC registered. NHS Experience Beneficial But Not Essential. Experience of working as a Band 5 for a minimum of 1 year. Experience of working within Adult Histopathology. The successful candidate must have experience with histology techniques such as embedding, sectioning, staining, and reporting of histology specimens. They must also be familiar with the use of a range of laboratory equipment and be able to troubleshoot and maintain them as required.
