We are seeking a motivated Environmental Project Engineer to join a growing team delivering remediation and environmental improvement projects in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Environmental Project Engineer who enjoys a mix of site-based and technical work, contributing to sustainable land development across Manchester.
As an Environmental Project Engineer, you will support the delivery of contaminated land and earthworks projects, helping to return sites to safe and usable conditions. Based in Manchester, you will be involved in a range of projects and work closely with experienced colleagues across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake site investigations, sampling, and monitoring
- Assist with the design and implementation of remediation strategies
- Support earthworks and materials management activities
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and method statements
- Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety standards
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulators
- Degree in Environmental Project Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline
