An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in a nursing home based in the Partington, Manchester area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers. This special nursing home has been designed for the needs of people living with dementia.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and overseeing the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care.
- Being the home’s nurse expert, utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills.
- Focusing on residents with complex needs, conforming with the latest guidelines, taking far-reaching decisions and maintaining the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures.
- Care plan development and assessments.
- Looking after all residents alongside the team and offering personalised centred care.
- Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
- The ability to engage with service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care.
- Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
- The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams.
- Good clinical skills.
- Promoting ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home.

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of GBP25.50 per hour, which equates to an annual salary of GBP53,040 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full-time role for 40 hours a week working through days, and comes with the generous benefits listed above.
